We’re working with a well-established hire company who are looking to expand their team with an experienced Small Tools Fitter at their busy South Ockendon depot.
The Role:
As a Small Tools Fitter, you’ll be responsible for the service, repair and maintenance of a wide range of small plant and tool hire equipment. You’ll ensure that machinery is safe, reliable and ready for hire, while delivering a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspecting, servicing and repairing small tools and plant equipment (e.g. breakers, disc cutters, drills, generators, compressors, etc.)

Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs

Ensuring all equipment is tested and safe for use

Maintaining accurate service and repair records

Supporting colleagues and maintaining a clean, safe workshop environment
About You:

Previous experience working as a Small Tools Fitter / Tool Fitter / Plant Fitter

Strong commitment to health & safety

Team player with a positive attitude
